How can I stop my neighbours' dog coming into my garden?
My neighbours' dog keeps jumping over their wall and into our garden. What are the laws against this and how can I make them stop their dog doing this?
Your neighbours are creating a trespass by allowing their dog to come onto your land. You would be entitled to compensation against your neighbours should the dog cause any damage. You could apply for an injunction to prevent them allowing their dog from trespassing but an injunction is expensive and may not succeed as it is a discretionary remedy.
