Although a person at an address with a bad credit history used to
blight others at the same address, now credit agencies are only
supposed to be able to have your daughter's credit rating affect yours
if you have entered into transactions jointly - for example if you had
a joint account or she were an additional cardholder or had taken out a
joint loan or mortgage.
However errors are often made and you should use one of the many online sites which enable you to check your credit history to obtain your credit files and check that no problems show up, and if they do to have them removed.
Our own favourite is http://www.checkmyfile.com/ as it searches all three UK agencies in one place.
