Need finance to get sole ownership of shared property...

I want to pay off the home owner who I did a contract with on some rental property which the home owner agrees to finance this home for me but the home owner's name only is on the deed which by paper the property is still his so the question is how can I get finance to pay the home owner off.

Reading between the lines, we think you feel you have bought part of the property and now want to buy the rest but it is in the sellers sole name.

You should seek a mortgage in the normal way, as if you are going to buy the property but only need to borrow the balance due to the seller. The amount paid already is effectively your deposit and this can be expressed in the contracts.
