What time can I require my neighbour turns their music down as they play it day and night?
My neighbour blasts music day & night. Can you please tell me at what time of the day must a neighbour turn down their music to a level where I will not be upset from it?
There is no fixed or rigid time of day when noise needs to be reduced but obviously it is a more sensitive issue in the evening and at night. If it is a long term problem I would suggest you keep a diary of disturbances and then report it to your local authority who will come and take readings and will bring enforcement action if necessary. If the problem is sporadic you can call the police who will often attend reasonably quickly and respond to it as a disturbance.
